Prayer of Repentance and Re-dedication

Sometimes we fall short of the glory of God and drift away from Him even after we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and personal saviour, either through our choices, actions, associations etc.
When Adam and Even disobeyed Him in the garden of Eden as recorded in Gen. 3, He still visited them as usual and call to Adam, where are you? Gen 3:9.
Where are you with your relationship with God? Are you far away? The Prodigal son was far away from his father, but he came to himself one day and he returned (Luke 17:18). You can also return as well; God is waiting for you with His hands open wide to receive you.
Also, David realised that he has falling from the glory of God (2 Samuel 12) and he cried to God to create in him a clean heart and to restore unto him the joy of his salvation. (Psalm 51:10;12)
Whatever your circumstance, our God is a forgiving God, He longs for you to be reconciled back to Him, all He’s waiting for is your willingness. He said If anyone come to Him He will in nowise cast out – John 6:37.
